Weimar Weekend 2024: A Weekend to Remember!

Created: 19 November 2024 Written by EMADOM

The Weimar Weekend 2024 kicked off on Wednesday, July 17th, with an engaging online discussion about the European and French elections and the road ahead. This virtual event set the tone for a weekend filled with thought-provoking exchanges.

On Friday, participants gathered in Mainz at Baron for a lively meet-up, reconnecting and building excitement for the days ahead.

Saturday featured a guided tour of the Gutenberg Museum, followed by an inspiring visit to the Rhineland-Palatinate State Parliament. The highlight was a panel discussion with regional politicians Mr. Michael Simon (SPD) and Mr. Thomas Barth (CDU), who shared insights on regional collaboration and pressing issues. The evening concluded at F. Minthe Beach Bar, where participants enjoyed great company, a refreshing drink, and views of the Rhine.

The weekend wrapped up on Sunday with a farewell brunch at Wilma Wunder, featuring a delicious buffet and warm goodbyes.

From virtual debates to unforgettable in-person moments, Weimar Weekend 2024 brought our community closer together. Thank you to everyone who joined and made it such a success!

Thank you to the UFA/DFH which partly funded the event!
