Mainz City Rallye 2022

Created: 28 May 2022 Written by Maria

Two weeks into the new semester, EMA-DOM invited the 9th generation of the Europa Master to participate in this year’s edition of the Mainz Rally. Divided into groups, the students received questions to answer and tasks to fulfil while strolling through Mainz. It led them to some of the most popular places like the Mainz Cathedral, the Citadel and the Schillerplatz. Directing their focus on some lesser-known details, like the number of windows in the tower guard’s apartment in St. Stephan or the often overlooked one-person-bunkers in the Citadel, the students got quite a unique view of the city.

After the rallye, EMA-DOM welcomed all the participants as well as other EMA-DOM members for little chat, food and drinks. The winning team received their well-deserved price: a collection of local delicacies.

We thank everyone for attending and enjoy your time in Mainz! Thanks to Stefan Metzdorf (8th generation student) and David Gussen (9th generation student) and both currently members of the EMA DOM Board!

And this is how happy smiles do look like after being announced as winning team of Mainz Rallye 2022!
