Day trip to Dole 2025

Reunited after their Christmas vacation, Dole revealed its brightest January sun for the 11th generation’s final trip!

This made for a perfect day to take a long walk through town after a smooth train ride from Dijon. It was great to discover another picturesque spot in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, with a special focus on the culinary side of things. The exploration of Dole included tastings of local specialties like cheese, wine, pastries, tea, cold cuts, chocolate, and much more.

Another highlight was the shimmering soap bubbles from a street performer, which lifted the spirits of strolling passers-by. Caught up in the rush of final exams, the 11th generation was excited to spend a day of détente together before parting ways at the end of their semester in France.
